Leadership

Shawanda Daniel, DrPH

Dr. Daniel is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH)-trained researcher and epidemiologist, and the founder of Southeastern Clinical Consulting, LLC. Her doctoral research has been presented at national health-outcomes research conferences, and she continues academic collaborations extending that work into longitudinal population health analysis.

She has served as a sub-investigator on industry-sponsored qualitative research studies, contributes to public health education program review and accreditation activity at the university level, and serves as the cardiometabolic subject-matter lead on SECC's multidisciplinary advisory board.

Her work centers cardiometabolic health literacy, health-behavior theory, and the responsible use of technology to close gaps in care between clinical visits — particularly for communities historically underserved by the health system.
